KEP-4816 (kubernetes/enhancements#4816) adds support for a "one-of" prioritized list of selection criteria to satisfy a device request in a ResourceClaim. This reached Stable in 1.36.
The example driver should include a demo YAML and documentation showing how to use prioritized alternatives, e.g. a claim that prefers a high-end GPU but falls back to a lower-end one if unavailable.
